How tasty is the Motherf*#$&r? – 6/10
\nThe burger had:
\n- \n
- beef patty \n
- ementhal cheese \n
- peanut butter \n
- applewood smoked bacon \n
- hot daddy sauce (secret sauce) \n
- mayo \n
- grilled onions \n
This was a pretty decent burger. Its centerpiece was the peanut butter and the grilled onions, both had great flavors which gave it its specific taste
\nThe beef patty sadly was a bit underwhelming wasn’t greatly spiced and was a bit bland. The meat itself could of been of a better quality but I can’t be too harsh.
\nAs you already know I’m a fan of the cheese however this one was simply there and didn’t add any flavor to the whole experience, either remove it or add something that is going to compliment the burger better. I would say that a smoked cheddar would of been a great addition to the recipe.
\nGrilled onions were lovely – freshly grilled strong flavor but not overwhelming taste it struck a very good balance. It was a great compliment to the beef and I believe with few more spices in the patty the overall taste would of been on point
\nBacon was great. Soft yet crunchy on the edges, that is how I like it. I wish the apple wood aspect of it was felt more non the less it was a good addition and added well to the meatiness of the burger
\nThe peanut butter was certainly the centerpiece of the burger. It taste was very specific and nothing I’ve tried before, I’m sorry for all the people with nut allergies.
\nI’m not a peanut butter expert but a chunkier variant I believe would of been better to add some of that texture as well. I think the flavor was decently balanced and I was hoping for it to be the overwhelming after taste together with the hot sauce.
\nI would say it was almost there. The hot sauce really helped to balance it and add this spicy tingle in the end which was exciting. Sadly I can’t say the same about the mayo it was there only to make the burger juicer, maybe a siracha mayo might have been a better choice
All and all a good burger and good experience.
\nBurger joint venue and overall experience? – 5/10
\nThis was a stand during the Shake Your Patty burger and milkshake festival which was more of an amateur music festival that happen to had burgers. If this was what you are expecting, unlike me, you could of had a good time, I was a bit disappointing.
\nSadly during my time I didn’t have much time. I was one of the first to arrive and the only burger stand I could try was the Cheeky Burgers stand.
\nTried two burger sliders (was hoping to try many burgers around so that is why they weren’t full fledged burgers.
