Being lazy and in need of a burger to review I ordered a burger from a diner close by. The Fatboyz Diner has really good reviews and I was pretty hyped up. Having a big greasy burger for dinner is always a good idea.

How tasty is the Motherf*#$&r? – 5/10

Sad to say I was not very happy with the execution of this bad boy. Big and greasy and pusing the junkfood burger the flavours weren’t tehre

The burger had:

  • 2x Beef Patty
  • american cheese
  • Caranelized Onions
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Mayo, Mustart, Ketchup
  • White Bun

The meat was quite a bit and was very juciy. Taking a bite I was expecting bliss but the taste wasn’t there. The burger was simply meaty and greasy, no unique or specific flavour, there was simply not much into the burger. Spirces were missing and I didn’t feel any condiments like mustard.

The American cheese is great for burgers, melting away, satisfying the fat person in you but lets face it. Flavour is not the main thing in its profile, non the less it is pretty good. The burger was dripping witch cheese but adding to additional fattiness of the patty was not helping. Having a classic cheese made the burger feel good but the taste wasn’t overwhelming.

The tomato was one of the best parts of this burger as it was big tasty and fresh. But it was so good it was actually dominating the other flavours whould have been great if the meatiness wasn’t plain but had that beef  taste. The caramelized onions looked amazing but even though it tends to be a dominating flavour this one was missing. The sweetness was coming from the tomato and the ketchup and the distinct feel of caramelized onions was simply not there.

The bun wasn’t toasted and was really soggy which was expected considering the fattiness of the burger and the cheese combined with mustard, mayo and ketchup which wasn’t a delicate balance or great execution but simply splattered condiments.

Burger joint venue and overall experience? – -/10

Didn’t visit the place.

Quirkiness level of the experience? – -/10

There wasn’t anything quirky about it and I didn’t visit the place so I can’t give an objective score
