There was a new recommendation in Glasgow I had to try. So this was a junkfood burger place and after my last success with MeatMission I was pretty hyped! These were greasy dirty, sloppy, soggy burgers… not for everyone

How tasty is the Motherf*#$&r? – 8/10

This was an intersting recipe with a light mediterrenian twist

The burger had:

  • Burger
  • Chorizo
  • Melted Buffalo Mozarella
  • Fried Onions
  • Sweet Balsamic glaze
  • Brioche Bun with Sesame Seeds

The burger was made with nice fresh meat. You could feel the patty through every bite but it was slightly dry. It could have used a bit more spices for sure but that strong beef flavour was there so I couldn’t complain. The chorizo was adding nice light hotness to the experience and was balancing the lack of spices from the meat as well as adding a bit more fattiness I really enjoyed it.

The mozarella is not a great choice for a burger. It makes for a great sloppy melted cheese but in terms of flavour it doesn’t add much. It helped ingredients like the balsamic glaze and the tomatoe to shine considerably. So combine that with the diced lettuce (thank you!) you had a nice italian salad with a burger. The onions shined through with sweetness and went along great with the salad.

Brioche was great, toasted and wasn’t getting soggy although there was a lot of dripping from the rest of the ingredients. The sesame seeds were adding a nice finish to the bites.
It was overall a nice conceptual burger.

Burger joint venue and overall experience? – 9/10

The fries… oh god. These are their own meals. all of them. I’m really impresssed with the sides in that place.

Quirkiness level of the experience? – 7//10

I haven’t had that sloppy and soggy experience in a while and this was a great one
