MeatMission is a place I went to a few years ago and I wasn’t really impressed by it. Back then I wasn’t doing burger reviews but I didn’t have amazing memories. Last week I came back since my girlffriend was excited to try them. What I notices was the google review was much higher than it used to be.

How tasty is the Motherf*#$&r? – 10/10

It has been a time since I had a 10/10 but this was a surprisingly pleasent experience. This is the best junk food I’ve had so far

Size: Medium

The burger had:

  • Double Beed Mustart Fried Patty
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Dead Hippie Sauce
  • Pickles
  • Minced White Onions
  • Lettuce
  • White Bun

Mustard fried patties have a very specific diner like taste that I really enjoy. It adds additional levels of sweetness. Combine this with good quality meat, which is well spiced and you get a great patty for a burger. The fact that they are two just helps balance the meatiness with the rest of the flavours in the burger.

The cheese is well layered and you get that cheddar cheesiness in every bite. It isn’t a fancy cheese it is a junk food burger processed cheese but the taste is great. There wasn’t a bite that was lacking or being overwhelmed by it

Shredded lettuce is the best lettuce for the burger, you don’t get a soggy leaf that drips all over, it helps contain the sauces and you can put a lot more. In combination the minced onions were much ligher on the taste. You don’t miss the sharpness but the flavour and the balance is there. Combine those with the pickles and you have a perfect burger salad that has acidity, freshness, sweetness and merges perfectly with the sauce.

Bun was soft and getting all the jucies

Overall this was a perfectly executed, junk food burger, great flavours, great balance of taste and juicy experience

Burger joint venue and overall experience? – 7/10

They have large trays of decent fries with a lot of toppings.  It is best when your burgers drool over the fries.

The jugs of IPA make me very very happy and so does the quality

Quirkiness level of the experience? – 5//10

It isn’t something wierd or quitky just really well made
