Boom! Burgers is one of the better places in Sofia for burgers. I’m yet to try others
So I was back home for a weekend and went with my spicy loving girlfriend to Boom! Burgers to show her a good burger place in Sofia and to review a new burger. As we both glanced at the spicy burger she managed to convince me I want it WITHOUT me fully looking into the recipe. Boy, was I for a surprise… I had to sign a declaration… yes I said I won’t sue the burger joint for any damages from the food. Please show that declaration on order not on delivery of the burger it got me scared shitless.
I need to point that I’m not a
How tasty is the Motherf*#$&r? – 4/10
So this burger is all about the experience and not about the taste. The only taste you get is within the first 2 seconds after your first bit and that is it. After that it is panic and adrenalin rush.
The burger had:
- Irish Beef Patty
- Melter Cheddar
- Fiery Guacamole
- Homemade Habanero
- NAGA Viper (the 4th most potent pepper on the scoville scale)
- Honey and Rum
- Chili Sauce Chilli Hills
- Ultra Hot Aioli
- White Bread Burger Bun
The beef as mentioned before is the weakest part of the Boom! Burgers franchise even when trying only the meat it was plain. But I can’t blaim them for this one it is very obvious you ain’t tasting anything.
Cheese doesn’t matter it is being lost so are the other ingredients.
The burger smelled of spicy and the one thing that I could feel with it was the sweetness from the honey and rum but after that it was only pain and heat so I can’t really say more. I have to say the chilli was tasty in the beginning but as it was overwhelming only the spice was left to burn your pallet
Burger joint venue and overall experience? – 7/10
The place has great selection of beers and ales that also rotate. However for this case I wouldn’t order anything but milk… DON’T GET WATTER.
The fries as usual were amazing. They always remind me of the fries grandma used to make.
Quirkiness level of the experience? – 10//10
Let’s face it this burger is all about the experience. It doesn’t taste nice but how many times do you sign a declaration before eating a burger?
