How tasty is the Motherf*#$&r? – 8/10
I was too lazy to go to a burger place so I decided to make my own this week. I thought I was going to suck at it but it ended up being a decent burger
The burger had:
- Beef patty (from cooperative)
- Brioche Bread
- Pork Loin
- Mature Cheddar
- Blue Cheese
- Beef Tomato
- Onion Chutney
- African Volcano Mild Hot Sauce
I’m going to be straight forward. It tasted great however there are plenty of things to be improved.
The combination of the chutney the blue cheese, beef patty and the sauces were great, I’m definitely going to repeat that recipe with better ingredients.
I don’t have a grill so the burger wasn’t perfect. If I mince my own meat and prep it with a proper grill I think the taste can be significantly enhanced.
The pork loin was obsolete I thought it can add a bit of a good pork taste but a single piece over a big beef patty is simply negligible.
The cheddar was missing from the taste and I think I should remove it and put a bit more emphasis on the blue cheese. Spinach was barely noticeable maybe if you saute it first instead of serving it fresh it would strengthen its flavour
Burger joint venue and overall experience? – 10/10
I love my place so I would say the venue was great. Jokes aside it is always nice to make yourself a good burger at home.
Quirkiness level of the experience? – 1/10
I was at home nothing special.
