The benefit of going with someone else for a burger is that you can always try two. Getting a taste of the Rox’s On The Rox – 9.5/10 gave me high hopes for this one and again I wasn’t dissapointed

How tasty is the Motherf*#$&r? – 9/10

For anyone reading this blog for a while you know I’m a sucker for blue cheese on a burger. So it made me very excited.

Size: Large

The burger had:

  • Beef Patty
  • Blue Cheese
  • Onions
  • Shredded Lettuce
  • Garlic Sauce
  • Brioche Bun

The patty was the same as in the previous burger. It was amazing. Very well spiced, fresh meat and full of flavour. As mentioned in the previous review the meat was a very good example of what a simple burger patty should be.

The cheese is the ceterpiece of this burger. The moldyness pushes the direction and that is why I love blue cheese for a burger. This time, the push was a bit too much. Even though everything was tasty the blue cheese was dominating in every single bite. Maybe a lighter blue cheese may have been a better options.

The shredded lettuce and onions were a great combination that soaked the garlic mayo and were that fresh end to the sharp blue cheese. I loved the fact that the lettuce is shred since you could put more of it and feel its taste.

The brioche bun was just slightly sweet, enought to round up the whole experience.

Burger joint venue and overall experience? – 5/10

Other than amazing burgers and decent fries there wasn’t much except soft drinks. Thankfully they are sharing an area with a bar but even thee the IPA selection wasn’t great. I had a Punk IPA by Brewdog

Saw people having wings so that might be worth exploring

Quirkiness level of the experience? – 2/10

Nothing quirky about it  sadly
